Though this is an exciting time for you, I understand that it may also feel overwhelming and often challenging at times. Society often tells us that postpartum care is a luxury, but in reality this type of support is a necessity in order for families to thrive while building this new structure together.
As a Full-Spectrum Postpartum Doula, I offer an expansive variety of support to families, with a holistic approach that is guided by an ethos of love. I weave traditional holistic healing practices with modern-day postpartum care to encourage restoration and balance within, creating a space for the body to heal naturally after birth, while inviting an environment where baby and birthing parent can thrive and deepen their bond.
I believe in addressing the physical, emotional, and practical needs of new parents, supporting overall well-being.
My intention is to foster environments where both the birthing parent and baby can truly thrive. I am committed to holding space for slower, more intentional postpartum rhythms that allow for deep healing and connection, an approach that not only supports the immediate family but also contributes to a more grounded and resilient community. By empowering parents and providing compassionate, responsive support, I can help families navigate this sacred transition with confidence and care.
In addition to my formal training and certifications, I am a practitioner of Mexican Traditional Medicine, Chinese Medicine and Ayurvedic practices, integrating ancestral practices into my work when welcomed by the family. This may include folk herbalism, gastronomy, ceremony, and traditional bodywork, rituals that have been passed down for generations to encourage profound physical and spiritual healing during the postpartum window.
“The postpartum period is a time for birthing parents to recover and take on new roles. In many cultures, it is also seen as a precarious period, rendering the new parent vulnerable to illness, & specific traditional practices are observed to ensure recovery and avoid ill health in later years.”
Whether you identify as a birth mother, parent, or are an adopted mother/parent, my offerings are for you if you are seeking empowered support, education and assistance in creating an environment for more intentional living and bonding with your new baby. It is my honor to support traditional and non-traditional types of families in their many phases of life.
All services provided are offered with a trauma-Informed lens with a focus on creating a safe and inclusive space for a more balanced and holistic way of living for all family types. I am CPR certified, and honor AAP recommended safe sleep practices for babies.

Perinatal Yoga/Somatic Movement & Breathwork
After the first fifteen days after giving birth it is safe and beneficial, for most bodies, to incorporate breath work practices to support the healing and recovery taking place, supporting the rebuilding of the core in a softer and more mindful way.
After the 6 week mark, for many, it is safe to offer deeper layers of healing and support by adding in gentle movement with yoga & somatic practices. These movements can help seal the pelvis, lengthen the spine and relieve upper and lower back pain, while also relaxing the nervous system and releasing any stored trauma in the body after birth.
“Our postpartum movement should help our bones and ligaments gel back together, lift, and nourish the core of our bodies.”

Sobada (postpartum bodywork)
This ritual massage is an ancient ancestral practice of Mexican Traditional Medicine as a remedy to assist the changes experienced during birth. As the hormones recalibrate and the organs return to their optimal positioning, bodywork is an integral part of a woman's/birthing-person's recovery. This is a practice that encourages the natural process of the body to heal when it’s supported properly. During the massage, often times, a release of repressed emotions may occur, together we hold the space for these emotions to be honored and processed.
This bodywork is done with customized herbal oil blends to assist in the healing process, offering lymph support and a reset for the nervous system; restoring balance in the body, soothing inflammation, relieves water retention and aids in detoxification.
Click here for a self care ritual you can do it at home, this ritual is called Abhyanga which is a self massage practice you can do in about 20 minutes.

Womb Massage
In Mexican Traditional Medicine womb massage is called sobada de la matriz. The womb is seen as a sacred portal and special attention is given after birth, to ensure proper healing.
The womb needs warmth to heal, and this gentle spiral womb massage is warming and nourishing. It can be done during the second half of the 40-day period, as the womb recovers and works toward repairing itself. This soft practice helps the uterus and muscles return to their pre-pregnancy state, providing nourishment to relax the womb, and allowing deeper healing. Every spiral rotation helps you transform your matriz (womb) and life.
This practice can be offered alone, or as part of the sobada session. When booking your session please indicate what your preference is.
*There is a deeper womb massage that helps to reset the uterus, this massage can be offered after the sacred 40-day window.
“A ritual massage is one of the most intricate and effective forms of caring for the body after pregnancy, birth and postpartum.”

Bano, Sobada, y La Cerrada
Sitz bath, Bodywork & Closing of the bones ceremony
Traditionally this offering is a triad of these medicinal practices. Starting off with a warming herbal sitz bath to encourage warmth in the body for optimal healing. Followed by a gentle bodywork session to allow the lymphatic system to release and the nervous system to reset, preparing the body for the closing of the bones ceremony. Using the sacred and ancient mesoamerican tool called El Rebozo, we close the physical and energetic portals opened during the birthing process.

Closing of the Bones Ceremony
This treatment of ancestral Mexican origin is also called “La Cerrada”. It’s generally offered to mark an important event in life (wedding, birth, death of loved one, change in career, change in living situations). It has historically been a ceremony honoring the rites of passages for women, but is also an offering that can be beneficial for anyone experiencing imbalance after going through a major life event.
This is a medicine that can be provided during the sacred window of postpartum right after giving birth, while also extremely beneficial during any season of motherhood, closing not only the physical openings of the body experienced during birth, but also a closing of the energetic portals opened during this time. The energy and, sometimes trauma, we experience during pregnancy, birth and the postpartum time lingers for years until it is addressed and healed.
During pregnancy and birth, the physical body opens and widens to accommodate the baby, this beautiful and sacred practice provides the return of proper alignment of the pelvis, sacrum, & bones - encouraging optimal body mechanics. While the act of childbirth is a powerful moment of connection between the physical and spiritual realms, acting as a gateway where a new soul enters the world, spiritual portals are also open during this time. During labor, the "veil" between dimensions is believed to be particularly thin, allowing for a deeper connection to the spiritual realm.
When the body remains open it is easy for our animistic forces to leave the body, leaving a void for illness and imbalance to occur.
Women often experience discomfort with an overall imbalanced feeling years after giving birth, this can be an indication of the emotional body holding onto types of trauma experienced during birth. Closing these openings brings a sense of honoring of the experience and the release of any emotions that are ready to be freed from the body, providing a sense of closure and restoration to the entire body system, while also calling missing pieces of your soul back to your body, allowing for wholeness and vitality after birth. Giving back to your body, after all it has done for you.
Together we will create a safe space to allow emotions, feelings, and thoughts to flow.
After booking a session, a confirmation message will be sent out with more information and how to prepare for our time together.
The Fine Print
In my practice it is my wish that you have access to these offerings even if you are not as financially resourced as others, right now. Money is such a stigmatized topic, talking about it helps to change that dynamic.
Sliding scale rates for special circumstances.
BIPOC, and LGBTQ+ discounts.
To maintain industry standards there is a non-refundable fee due at the time of purchase.
A travel fee is required outside of a 20-mile radius.
So many people have little access to these types of holistic practices of healing and support. To bridge the gap that has been created by capitalism, I have created the Community Doula Support Program, which offers services to families at low cost and sometimes at no charge. I donate a certain amount of hours of services each month to specific families in need. Application is required.
There are many incredible care providers in the Colorado community. If you are looking for a pelvic floor therapist, birth/newborn photographer, or mental health support, you can find a list of resources here.
“When mothers thrive, communities thrive. ”
As a Mother Myself
I understand the depth that is motherhood/parenthood. On my own journey of motherhood, I have witnessed the importance of support during the many phases of this transformational time, from conception to the postpartum period and beyond.
As a mother of three, my desire to be in service in this way to the women and children in my community, has stemmed from my own need for support during the postpartum period time; having had both types of experiences of receiving support during this time and not receiving. Society does not typically place a lot of importance on the sacred window of time that mothers/birthing parent and their children need for proper healing and bonding.
“Mothering that comes from a place of connection to ourselves and to our children leads us to a deeper sense of calm and true responsibility.”
I was blessed to have an abuela (grandmother) that offered traditional and non-traditional support during two of my births. By the third baby, life was a whirlwind and I hadn’t planned for much time after my birth, which was traumatic and overwhelming - this was the pregnancy I could have used the support with the most. My grandmother was no longer able to provide support in the ways she had before and the absence of this type of support was loud.
Receiving this type of love and care when the body and mind are so depleted, is what helps to feed balance in the system for optimal healing. Because of the support I received, I was able to bond, heal and create an environment where my baby and I could just be, where we could thrive during such a transformational and vulnerable time. This was 26 years ago when the pressures of social media and societal expectations for mothers weren't being fed to us on a constant basis, making it a bit easier to create these types of introspective and soft experiences.
My intention is to hold space for these slower and more intentional types of environments for mother/birthing parent/parent and baby, that will benefit not only their immediate family but eventually their community, as they will be more grounded in their role as a mother/parent and their bond with baby will that much stronger. Feeding the cultural movement that is building the foundation for MotherCulture, honoring mothers and the profound journey experienced as we step over the threshold from maiden to mother.
I am honored to be a part of your journey at this time.
